Data Deletion Instructions

Proven Alternatives respects user data rights. If you interacted with our Facebook app, pages, or platform integrations and want related data deleted, use one of the methods below.

Method 1: Email request

Step 1: Email privacy@provenalternatives.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.”

Step 2: Include your name, contact email, Facebook profile URL or username if relevant, and a short description of the data you want deleted.

Step 3: We will review and process valid requests within 30 days, then send confirmation when complete.

Method 2: Remove app access through Facebook

Step 1: Open Facebook Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.

Step 2: Find the relevant Proven Alternatives, News Card Publisher, or connected app entry.

Step 3: Select Remove to revoke app access. If Facebook sends us a deletion request, we will process remaining data within 30 days.

Data covered

Personal identifiers associated with a valid request
Messages or direct communications supplied by the requester
Platform interaction data that can reasonably be tied to the requester
Operational records no longer required for legal, security, or compliance purposes

Aggregate, anonymized, or de-identified analytics may be retained because they do not identify a specific individual.
